St Mary Magdalene & Holy Jesus Trust is a registered charity providing sheltered accommodation (almshouses), support services and a social care home to older persons with limited financial means. There are currently 117 bungalows on the site, 16 flats at Magdalene Court and 5 'Chippendale' Court properties.
This project was a green field design with most of the content provided by the trustees. The layout was based on an existing template in order to reduce the development time and hence cost. The trustees wanted a bright, clear, uncluttered design with plenty of pictures, and plenty of room to accommodate future expansion.
Phase II of the site will incorporate FLASH panoramas to illustrate the facilities available within each of the bungaloes and the residential care home.
