Infection Music was founded in 1999 as an independent record label providing melodic, structured and, above all, accessible electronic music.

Later on, the company expanded and began to design and build a range of professional electronic musical instruments and the web pages expanded to accommodate.

In 2007, we decided to split the company into three sections. Infection Music continues to design and manufacture instruments. Our original record label, Thinking Metal Music, was resurrected and currently handles all of the artists originally signed to the Infection Music label. Infection Media looks after all of the web pages.

Infection Music is the original award winning site, which began life as long ago as 1995 as just a single page of hand-coded HTML. In 2003, the site won the first prize in the Start Up category of the regional heat of the UK Government's E-Commerce Awards.

The site is now the main hub of the company's internet activities, supporting streaming audio, video, an on-line shop and embedded Twitter feeds. The look and feel of the pages is updated on a regular basis so that we maintain a competitive edge in a difficult and somewhat crowded market place.
