The Freemen of Newcastle upon Tyne are a charitable organisation based in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne. The Town Moor Money Charity offers means-tested assistance to Freemen, their widows, daughters and sons in poor circumstances and extends to assistance towards mobility aids and to those in higher education.

Infection Music The original and the best. This is our award winning site, which began life in 1995 as just a single page of HTML.

Infection Music was founded in 1999 as an independent record label providing melodic, structured and, above all, accessible electronic music. Later on, the company expanded and began to design and build a range of professional electronic musical instruments and the web pages expanded to accommodate. In 2007, we decided to split the company down the middle. Our original record label, Thinking Metal Music, was resurrected as a subsiduary of the main site and now handles all of the artists originally signed to Infection Music.

Our Customers: Dundee Live 2008

Dundee-Live is a one-off electronic music concert, which will take place in Dundee, Scotland on 11th October 2008.

The concert is intended to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original UK Electronic 83' festival, which was largely responsible for kick-starting the whole UK Electronic Music scene.

The site was put together very quickly - less than a day - because the organisers wanted to announce the line-up ahead of a couple of other European feativals. Infection Media is proud to be one of the sponsor's for the event. (We're also performing as Ion!)

Instel Media are a media duplication company based in North Tyneside. Their core business is CDr duplication but they also specialise in transfering 8mm cine film into more modern formats such as DVD.

Thinking Metal is our own independent record label and currently looks after three bands, T-Bass, Skin Mechanix and Ion. The site delivers information about the artists, samples of music and video and where you can buy our products. It also supports an on-line shop and streaming audio so that visitors can continue surfing whilst a selection of tracks plays in the background.
